Description

Katinka is a spunky, happy-go-lucky 2 year old, weighing around 50 lbs. She recently became a political celebrity advocating for shelter animals at the California state capitol with Assemblyman Cameron Smyth. She plays like a puppy, and is fond of swimming. She's got a head start on training and knows the command "sit.". Also known as "Tinks", went to foster, has not had any accidents in her home and is doing great with crate training! She’s a little nervous around new people and loud cars/trucks, but is otherwise a happy, well mannered gal. She'll need loving humans who understand she'll need a few days to adjust at home. Tinks was adopted and recently returned as her family lost their house. They were in tears having to give her back, as well as their two cats, so Tinks has lived with cats. You can find her in the Augie Dogie Building. Tinks has been rated as Orange.

Dogs are "pack animals" and need to be inside the house daily with their humans. Most behavior problems such as barking, digging, chewing and hyper behavior are caused by leaving a dog in a backyard day and night.

Animals must be spayed or neutered before going home. Renters must bring written landlord approval.
