Chow Chow - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Courage
Description
Courage is an approximately 8-11 months old healthy puppy. He loves other dogs, likes to play rough & tough with the big dogs and gentle & sweet with the smaller pups. Courage is housebroken, a squeaky toy enthusiast and a pig ear connoisseur! Courage is a favorite at his doggie daycare amongst dogs and people alike. Courage was picked up as a scared stray. It is unclear whether Courage is feral or if he was badly abused by humans in his short life. He is fearful of human touch, but has never shown any aggression toward people. He will come when called and follows routines easily. Courage recently made progress walking on a leash in familiar situations and now enjoys riding in the car. When I think of Courage, the term 'baby steps' comes to mind. He makes progress everyday, but it is very gradual. Courage is looking for an owner who will be patient with him while he is slowly learning to trust humans. It would be best for Courage to be adopted by an owner willing to work with an experienced trainer (s). Are you the owner who can help Courage reach his potential-- he is truly an amazing dog!
