Description:

As products of Microsoft, the software support of the desktop range is top-notch. Installation was painless and with updated drivers from Microsoft’s website we were able to customize the product to our heart’s content. The only place that we found the 4000 desktop lacking in, was its wireless reach. Despite having a large wireless base, one has to barely move less than 5 feet away before the keyboard would completely loose sync. In the final part of our review, we decided to check out just how much user advantage does this desktop add when used with Windows Vista? The answer… Virtually none. Despite a series of dedicated keys, comprehensive software support and a laser mouse, there is nothing here that can not be found in other keyboard/mice combos. The 4000 Wireless laser desktop set at the end of the day is a solid product. It offers excellent typing speeds in relative comfort, a laser mouse that eliminates lag in movement and very good software support. However with its rather steep pricing of Rs 7,000, this product is not for everyone. I recommend that anyone looking to purchase this product, look elsewhere. There are comparable products that offer the same level of functionality and can be had at a fraction of the cost.
