My wife and I were at the Antique Road Show a little over a month ago in San Jose. We took this lamp and 2 plates to have appraised. We were told that the plates were worth between $75 & $100 each and the lamp was valued at between $175 & $250. We were also told that the items are very much collectible and the values are increasing. These were made in Italy and sold in the U.S. in the early '50s. Both plates are identical and they can be hung on a wall. They are in excellent condition. The lamp does have a lampshade, although we will have to find it and if I remember correctly it was not in the best of condition but still usable. The appraisal we got for the lamp was without the lampshade. As you can see in the pictures, the lamp has a painting. There are actually 2 paintings on the lamp. On the reverse side of the lamp is another painting but different that the one shown. All three peices are in excellent condition. These were purchased by a relative of my wife in the early '50s from a "door to door " salesman. She no longer wants them and they were appraised at more than we are selling them for. This sale is for the 2 plates and the 1 lamp.
